What Happens in a First Session?

This will look different for every client. Most first sessions involve a brief intake process where we review your intake information, get to know you and why you have chosen to come to therapy. If you are entering our session in crisis, it may make more sense for our team member to assist you in the most appropriate way to relieve your distress. This may result in utilizing strategies as soon as possible opposed to a few sessions in.
Our team, no matter what the situation will not expect you to participate in any strategies or therapies that you are not comfortable with.
Can I Do Virtual Sessions?
Virtual sessions are offered by most, if not all, of our therapists and do not involve any change of preset rates.
